WCOPA Team Saudi Arabia represented by Jeffrey F. Almendras as the official delegate for Senior Vocal competition. Jeff is an Overseas Filipino Worker based in Riyadh who recently joined the World Championship of Performing Art last July 12 to 21, 2019 in Long Beach, California, USA.









The WCOPA were attended by 70 countries for singers, musicians, dancers, variety artists, actors and models at the 23rd Annual World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA). This one-and-only, Olympic-style international meet for aspiring performers and entertainers is held annually in the “Hollywood” area, entertainment capital of the world. “A most invaluable experience of a lifetime” is the frequent universal praise given by attendees to this prestigious event. Jeff participated in three songs under Pop, Broadway and World category, unfortunately, he did not make it to reach the semifinals but he did not stop, he is planning to return back again in WCOPA soon.  He will be participating more entry songs to get the chance of winning.









He expresses that WCOPA was a great achievement in his life and career. He is proud to be part of it. Been competing professional contestants and having fun meetings with new friends around the world was an amazing experience.

 

He also attended WCOPA boot camp seminars conducted by world class Hollywood artists are helpful that improved his ability in singing and handling voice coaching in his voice class. With this, he acknowledged and thanked to the WCOPA management for giving him the chance to represent Saudi Arabia and the Filipino community. Jeff received an award of Certificate of Completion from WCOPA (see photo) .





Jeff encourage and recommend new aspiring performers to join WCOPA, assuring new delegates from different countries feel incredible experience and uplift their talents by attending this event.







Jeff Almendras is now a founding chairman of Asosasyon ng mga Pilipinong Mangaawit (APM), Producer and Director of Bagong Kampeon, Voice of Riyadh, Pinoy Song Festival, Musikahan, Konsyerto and Voice Circle.
