It all started with a Kodak box camera…using 12-shot rolls…and later Yashica with 35-shots film rolls …with reflex cameras …..Nikon…/… Canon..
In all those years from 1966 upto 2011… Munting Nayon must have used hundreds of rolls accumulating thousands of shots to record in pictures the history of the Filipino community in the Netherlands.
Eddie Flores, while clearing their attic of clutters, came across a pile of old photos. Indeed old photos and turned out to be a clutter of treasures …. photos of the pioneers of the Filipino community in The Netherlands dating from 1947… and from June 1988, when Munting Nayon published its first (hardcopy) edition.
MN stopped its hardcopy monthly publication in 2011.
In 2007, MN posted its first digital version muntingnayon.com .
Most of the photos were taken by Eddie Flores, Editor of Munting Nayon News Magazine.
4TH of a series …. This compilation of MN photos were randomly selected … no timeline, no comments and no caption and posted for sharing with the community.
