Throwing …discarding old books … documents …??

Be sure to check pages for markers/ inserts before getting rid of them ……Almost always, one would find old photos / bank pin codes / foreign currencies….passwords …etc.

Eddie Flores, while clearing their attic of clutters, came across a pile of old photos. Indeed old photos and turned out to be a clutter of treasures …. photos of the pioneers of the Filipino community in The Netherlands dating from 1947… and from June 1988, when Munting Nayon published its first (hardcopy) edition.

MN stopped its hardcopy monthly publication in 2011.

In 2007, MN posted its first digital version muntingnayon.com .

Most of the photos were taken by Eddie Flores, Editor of Munting Nayon News Magazine.
