Filipino Canadian Community House Holds Christmas Luncheon Gathering

The Filipino Canadian Community House-FCCH, a notable community-based service agency in Toronto, celebrated the holiday season with a "Christmas Luncheon" event on December 14, 2019. The gathering was held at the Multi-purpose Room of Lawrence Heights Community Centre, 5 Replin Road, North York, Toronto.
Philippine Consul General Orontes Castro graced the occasion as the guest speaker, together with Member of Provincial Parliament for Eglinton-Lawrence Robin Martin. The party started with a blessing and the sharing of the sumptuous food served. The food and drinks were brought in by members, friends and volunteers of the organization.
The FCCH officers, members and their guests filled the community recreation venue and noticeably, all coming and exhibiting with smiles in their faces. During the program, special dance and musical presentations were performed by the FCCH Youth members. Certificates of Appreciation were handed out to deserving members in recognition of their valuable contributions to the association.
Headed by President Maria Guiao and supported by an executive board, Filipino-Canadian Community House ( BN-86313 7030 RR 0001) is a non-profit registered charitable organization, serving newcomers, youth, adults, seniors and marginalized groups since 2004. FCCH is volunteer-run, non-political and donations -based community service operation. It has an established program for persons-in-need and also other programs such as Life Skills and Adaptation; Forever Young; Stress-Free Health & Wellness; Youth Development Activities; Skills Development and Leadership projects.
