The Voice of the Philippines – Mitoy and the Draybers Byaheng Canada Tour

Michael “Mitoy” Yonting is scheduled to perform on a concert tour dubbed “Byaheng Canada” that include stops at Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and possibly Montreal this October 2019. He will be performing with his band “the Draybers” for a once in a lifetime concert experience with the season premiere winner of the Voice of the Philippines.
The concert is expected to be a successful event as this is the first time he is doing a concert in Canada. He is looking forward to replicate the success of his previous concerts abroad with the loving support of OFW’s. Armed with a powerful voice Mitoy is expected to serenade his fans with a broad song repertoire that include classic rock and pinoy love songs.
The Voice of the Philippines is the most coveted singing competition in the Philippines that crowns the singer with the most unique and powerful voice. Contestants battle it out in different rounds and judged by their coaches and voted by fans. Mitoy won the season premiere in 2013 with his own powerful rendition of Anak by Freddie Aguilar, Help by John Farnham, Total Eclipse of the Heart duet with Ms. Lea Salonga and Vice Ganda and his own cover Bulag at the final live performance held at the Resorts World Manila. Apart from doing concert around the country and abroad Mitoy also judges at the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment of the famous noon time show “Showtime”. He also regularly performs at the Bar 260 within the Resorts World Manila.
The Toronto leg is happening on October 12, 2019 at the newly renovated and upgraded Toronto Pavilion located at 190 Railside Rd. Toronto. Mitoy will be joined by Toronto’s own iconic band Breeding Grounds as the main front act and some other Fil Canadian talents. The show is mainly sponsored by UMAC, Megaworld and manage by Audio Spin Entertainment.
