Pinoy Canada Ontario recently held its first Boodle Fight for Cause to raise funds for noble projects that can give smile to our less fortunate kababayan back home. A total of 129 tambayanista gathered into the park to meet up and enjoy the 25 meters long boodle fight food prepared by the PCO officers headed by Roxanne held at the Earl Bales Park in North York. Pinoy Canada Tambayan Jonats Miguel flew all the way from Winnipeg to graciously attend the event and meet up with its Ontario members.
After the boodle fight games were also held with the winners getting free tickets for the upcoming Byaheng Canada Concert Tour of Mitoy and the Draybers on October 12, 2019 at the Toronto Pavilion. Pinoy DJ’s of Toronto provided the music and DJ Jeff Tan hosted the event supported by Music Box and Rom Nami’s Skinful Wishes.
PCO started only as fb group chat on Pinoy Canada Tambayan and now holds special projects in the Philippines. It also aims to bring smile to our kababayan here in Canada through hugot postings, meet ups and holding events.
Most of its members are from the province of Ontario mostly based at greater Toronto area and surrounding regions. Interested individuals can join by just adding your fb account to the fb Pinoy Canada Ontario group page.
