The BICOL CANADA COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION Successfully concluded its Palarong Bicol 2019 – Winter Basketball Games

The Bicol Canada Community Association (BCCA), Directors and Officers, headed by its energetic President Earl Francis Oriño Dacara, had successful launched and recently concluded its Palarong Bicol 2019 held on two Sundays, March 10 and 17 at the Lawrence Heights Community Centre.
Team Lake Buhi won the championship game against Team Catanduanes. Lake Buhi Team is headed by its coach Marcel Mendizabal.
The open basketball tournament amongst “Oragons” in Ontario was participated by 8 teams and attended by hundreds of fellow Bicolanos, families, and friends who witnessed the exciting games from various teams, representing their provinces, cities and municipalities raising their respective flags of pride.
The BCCA would like to congratulate the winners of the Palarong Bicol 2019, Inter-province Basketball Games!

Congratulations to Team Libmanan, Iriga City, Bato Lakers, and Masbate for their active participation and excellent display of camaraderie and sportsmanship!
Indeed, the purpose of the activity has been successfully achieved - building confidence, promoting camaraderie, and developing teamwork and bringing closer all the Bicolanos in Ontario! This is the reason why the Bicol Canada Community Association accepts the challenge of developing players like everyone here to become great athletes someday and we will continue to have these activities on a regular basis.
