PMNTV Joins Newly Appointed Consul General at Toronto Independence Day Celebration

On Friday morning June 12 2015, the Philippine Consulate in Toronto hosted a celebration for the 117th anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence.
The community welcomed newly appointed Consul General to Toronto, Rosalita S. Prospero who delivered a message from President Benigno S. Aquino III along with members of the consular staff who read independence day messages from the Secretary of Labor, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Vice President and President.
Invited guests from the Filipino community were treated to traditional dance performances by the Folklorico Filipino Dance Company and a traditional Filipino breakfast buffet from FV Foods.
