The NSW Premier’s Harmony Dinner held last 28th February 2019 at the Rosehill Gardens was a very special night to recognise and celebrate the hard work and commitment of many multicultural organisations in the fields of Human Rights, Art & Culture, Economic Participation, Regional Communities, Lifetime Community Service and Youth.

Some of the APCO delegates led by President Violy Escultura (in golden Filipiniana in the middle and founding president Cen Amores (wearing black).

Thirty members of the Alliance of Philippine Community Organisations Inc. (APCO) including affiliated members of Young and Districts Multicultural Association, attended this state dinner that totalled 1500 guests including government state ministers, foreign consular officials and community leaders from throughout the state of New South Wales.

A table presided by Ruben Amores, founding president of Kapitbahayan Coop. who was the NSW Premier’s medal awardee for Lifetime Multicultural Community Service in 2015.

YADMA president Josie de Guzman Johnson was a Premier’s medal nominee while APCO director Zeny Piosic was again a finalist in the National costume quest. Kapitbahayan Coop founder Ruben Amores was the Premier’s Medallist for Lifetime Multicultural Community Service in 2015.

Another table was presided by APCO founding President Dr Cen Amores and son Raphael together with the members from Young, NSW. YADMA president and Premier’s medal nominee Josie de Guzman Johnson and retired UP Prof Dr Ed Escultura and wife Violy, APCO president, are seen standing at right.

Like last year, Ethnic Communities Council of NSW offered partial subsidy to APCO for its continuing membership with ECC NSW Inc. Congratulations to the winners of the 2019 Premier's Harmony Medals for their outstanding contributions to the various sectors of NSW!
