"Fun - Valentine Day" for Seniors at PoP

The Prince of Peace Parish in Scarborough honored over a hundred Seniors in the community by celebrating a Valentine Party in the church hall. The half dozen regular nonagenarians attended and enjoyed the bingo, light exercise, singing, parlor games and the delicious food served by the church volunteers (the seniors brought their home-made food and desserts too).

Lynette and Jean welcomed the seniors as they arrived. In this "Valentine" gathering, Over a hundred seniors came from the community. They enjoyed the attention and service they got from seniors committee . Chairman of this Seniors event is Charity Ahmad; regular volunteers Angela Akam, Cynthia Acayan, Ramona Coutinho, and are ably assisted by Shirley, Bonnie, Elizabeth, Susan, Lynette, Dawn, Fe and Arthur.
