Hannah Grace Saplad Wins Mrs Philippines Netherlands 2011

Mrs Philippines Netherlands beauty pageant was held on the 7th of May 2011 at the Sportscentrum West in Rotterdam, organised by MVE Entertainment with theme Flores in May (Flores de Mayo).





It was divided into 6 different categories: Flowerwear, Casualwear, Swimwear, Talent presentation, Evening gown & the Question & Answer portion.

There was a spectacular parade of colourful tropical flowers, in hundreds of colours & shapes, such as sunflower, dahlia, daisy, hortensia, orchids, gumamela & rose. The lovely 32 year old Mrs Hannah Grace Saplad, hailing from Pondol Balamban Cebu coveted the crown of Mrs Philippines Netherlands 2011 and received two special awards - Best in Floral Wear showing how creative the Filipina mind is & Best in swimsuit. Mrs Marlyn Miguel, a 37 year old Zamboanguena; who believes that you cant sweep other people off their feet, if you cant be swept off your own, swept the judges away when she paved her way on the catwalk and was awarded best in catwalk & best in casual wear. She was crowned the Ambassadress of Goodwill 2011 & 2nd runner up.





The beautiful 31 year old-Bicolana, Mrs Margie Verzosa depicted elegance when she graced her way on the catwalk with her beautiful gown. She has not just depicted elegance but also showed that she has what it takes to be the best in the talent presentation when she brought the latino spirit on the dance floor. She is truly a gem with different facets. She was also awarded 1st runner up & the People's Choice Award. The bubbly Mrs Photogenic, Sarah Cais, 26 years old, from Bacolod City ended up the third runner up in this pageant.

The crowd favourite, charming Mrs Evelyn Sanchez, 47 years old from Binan Laguna received three special awards: Mrs intelligence, Mrs Friendship & of course the Audience Choice Award.




April Alfeche-van der Meeren was MVE's Choice Award winner & Mrs Personality. Weena Nilo from Puerto Princesa City Palawan was awarded Mrs Trendy 2011.

The event would have not been possible without the help of the board of judges, sponsors, donors, special guests and volunteers.







The evening was hosted by the lively & spontaneous Lovella Agbayani and co-hosted by the vivacious Margarita van Moorsel-Relos & Mrs Philippines Netherlands 2010's First runner up Jenny van der Zee.
