Kalayaan Cultural Community Centre Conducts Open House in Mississauga

The Kalayaan Cultural Community Centre - KCCC, a quintessential organization of Filipino Canadians in the City of Mississauga and neighbouring areas held an "Open House" on December 2, 2018, at its Orbitor Drive, Missisissauga office . The Open House was purposefully aimed at providing relevant and useful information about the programs, projects and services offered by the 35-year old community -focused organization.
During the 3-hour afternoon session, the invited guests were warmly welcomed and encouraged to sign up for membership and also, to renew membership at a discounted rate of C$ 15. Likewise, attendees were treated to complimentary food and drinks and lucky winners were handed door prizes.
Networking opportunities with participating organizations such as The Filipino ChanneL, Combined Insurance, Liz Little Garden, and Melaluca afforded the guests including a Bazaar with gift items. Moreover, a social dancing time was one of the highlights with free dancing instructions given in ballroom & line dancing and hula & zumba dance techniques.
The Kalayaan Cultural Community Centre continually operates to meet its vision of "serving the interest of the Filipino-Canadian thru affirming, strengthening and empowering processes, services and activities !" .
The popular Mississauga-based community organization is having its New Year's Gala on December 31, 2018. KCCC is presently headed by its president , community leader Resty Del Rosario, a Philippine- licensed CPA & Certified General Accountant -CGA in Ontario.
