KNIGHTS OF RIZAL CANADA REGION CONTINUOUSLY IMPLEMENTS PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS

The leadership of Sir Joe Damasco, KGOR, Regional Commander of the Knights of Rizal Canada Region, and the untiring support of his deputy regional commander, Sir Mario Alpuerto, KGOR, and the guidance of the KOR Canada Region advisers, Sir George R. Poblete, KGCR; Sir Lapulapu Cana, KGCR; Sir Jaime T. Marasigan, KGOR; and immediate past Regional Commander Sir Eduardo C. Prillo, have given more impetus on the activities of KOR Canada region different officers and members of the different chapters.
During the commemoration of the 122nd death anniversary and the martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal on December 30, 2018 the positive result was felt with the attendance of both the officers of the Knights of Rizal Canada Region and the presence of the Kababaihang Rizalista, Ladies of Rizal and the Rizal Youth Arm in Canada.
Philippine Consul Edwin Mendoza represented the Philippine Government which was highlighted by the wreath laying before Rizal's bust at the Earl Bales Park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was followed by a dinner tendered for the officers, members, and guests of the Knights of Rizal Canada Region.
Sir Lapulapu Canada, KGCR, confirmed the promotion ot several members of the Knights of Rizal belonging to several chapters which include: Sir MPP Roman Baber, KCR, of Dimasalang Chapter, MPP representing the York Center riding; Sir MPP Stan Cho, KCR, of Don Valley Chapter who is the MPP of the Willowdale Riding; Sir Jerome Peralta, KCR, of Don Valley Chapter; Sir Richard Saldana, KCR, Don Valley Chapter; Sir Chris Jones, KCR, Don Valley Chapter; Sir Feberio Hangdaan, KCR, Don Valley Chapters; and Sir Fred Tomas, KCR, Don Valley Chapter.
There were several guests coming from other communities. The event was graced with the presence of Member of Parliament candidates Bobby S. Singh for the Scarbrough Rouge Park and Irshad Chaudhry for the Scarborough Centre.
In the meantime, Sir Joe Damasco, KGOR, regional commander, Knights of Rizal Canada Region, is appealing to all officers and members of the different Rizal Chapters in Canada to get in touch with him in conjunction with the forthcoming international assembly of the Knights of Rizal under the Supreme Council by next month in Antipolo City, Philippines.
