PLM College of Nursing to hold its 50th Anniversary

The College of Nursing of the Pamatasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila celebrates its 50th Anniversary beginning from Jan.31-Feb 2 in 2019 with the holding of various community health services, lecture series, toy-giving drive and the gala night.
Hundreds of nurses coming from all over the world are expected to attend this Golden Anniversary and their First Grand Alumni Homecoming.
The affair’s theme is " Pagtitibay ng Lakas sa Ikalimanpung Taon ng Tagumpay at Kahusayan sa Pagkalinga (Solidifying Strength in 50 years of Success and Excellence in Nursing.
These reunion attendees are expected to reminisce their good old school days; they will also show to the other batches the importance of nurturing the PLM’s culture of excellence in producing top notchers both in the licensure nursing exams and in the practice of their professions.
Since its founding in 1967, the PLM’s College of Nursing has produced hundreds of nurses some of them are now based worldwide: US, Canada, Middle East, and Australia.
Today, the PLM is ranked 7th in top performing schools with 100 % passing rate and through the years, it has produced quite a number of top notchers in the licensure exams given by the Professional Regulatory Commission. (Willie Jose)
