Very recently, the management & staff of LBC Express Inc. In receiving the accolade, Country Head Raffy Policarpio pledged to continue his company’s support and sponsorship of worthwhile charity and sports initiatives, particularly those that provide social impact both in the GTA and in the far-flung areas in the Philippines.
Talamak Golf club won the GTA Interleague tournament for two consecutive years. The most recent event was held at the Station Creek Golf course in Stouffville, hosted by BGAT golf club, one of six golf team participants in the Greater Toronto area.
During the year, LBC, the Philippines’ premier cargo-forwarding company, sponsored and supported major Filipino-Canadian sporting events such as the 3rd LBC Badminton Funfest in April and Talamak Golf’s participation in 9th GTA Interleague Golf tournament in June. Both events attracted the participation of various badminton and golf associations from Toronto and the surrounding cities. Likewise, in August, LBC was a key advocate and supporter of the cause-oriented walk initiated by ANCOP (Answering the Cry of the Poor), a leading Philippine charity organization that provides housing and educational assistance to indigent families back home.
