Would you like to learn a Philippine Cordillera dance(s) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands? Or watch some Philippine Cordillera dances in the city? You can do all these and more at Nassaukerk, De Wittenstraat 114, in Amsterdam on July 27, 2019.
A network of Igorot Cordillerans in Europe called Igorot Cordillera BIMAAK-Europe (ICBE) will hold their 10th series of conference at the Nassaukerk from July 26-29, 2019. The conference theme is “Celebrating 17 Years of ICBE’s Existence and Appreciating Abra’s Land, People & Culture.” MABIKAs Foundation-The Netherlands (MABIKAs) is the conference host.
The 10th ICBE conference Preparatory Committee has invited Igorot Cordillera organizations and individuals in Europe--- Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom--- to attend the conference. MABIKAs Foundation look forward to welcoming participants from these countries and from other countries. Some Igorots from the Philippines and the USA have already indicated interest to attend.
Entrance fee for the whole day activity is €65.00. It includes meals and attending the morning session, cultural workshop in the afternoon and Cultural Night. For those who would like to attend the Cultural Night only, the entrance fee is €25.00 (dinner included).
