Background
The Asian Canadian Talent Search (ACTS) is an annual singing competition that provides an opportunity for young Asian Canadians to have their voice heard above thousands. The ACTS was created to promote and celebrate multiculturalism in Asian Canadian youth and to nurture young vocal performers in their early stages. They are given the chance to represent their community and place a spotlight on the talent that exists in the heart of the Greater Toronto Area, a city that bursts with undiscovered talent and star power.

The competition is open to all Asian Canadians between the ages of 15 to 30 and the finalists will be chosen through a series of qualifying rounds. Twenty-six Semi-Finalists will perform on May 29, 2011 at Pacific Mall. Ten finalists will be chosen to participate in the Final taking place on June 25, 2011 at the P.C.
