Rizal Don Valley Chapter Christmas Party 2017

The Rizal Don Valley Chapter headed by Sir Joe Daniel and Sir Jun (and Lady Ining) Calaguio held their "Pasiklaban Paskor 2017" Christmas Party on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017. It was a joyous celebration of Christmas among the Knights, Ladies and guests at Christina's Restaurant at Bathurst Ave.

The  90 guests include Rizal Region Executives Sir Popoy Cana, KGCR, Sir Dr. Romy Sinajon, KGOR, Sir Joe Damasco, KGOR, Sir George R. Poblete, KGCR, Lady Rose Tijam,  GTA Chapter Commanders, Knights from Etobicoke, Brampton, Mississauga, Don Valley, Toronto, Dimasalang, Earl Bales  Chapters and their Ladies; Hon. Senator Asia Seth,  Hon. Minister Salma Zahid  and Minister of Culture and Immigration Hon. Ahmed Hussein and other Ministers.

The evening was opened with the singing of the national anthems, Blessing of the food by Sir Pastor Elmer and dinner (served delicious Filipino food). The dignitaries were introduced as they arrived, Dinner was followed by a Trivia contest, followed by a Talent contest (Emcees were Sir Frank Crawford and Sir Richard Saldana.). They asked three none Rizal Knight/lady as judges.

The singing group of Brampton Chapter bagged the First Prize ($300 donated by Sir Joe Daniel), beating the colorful Etobicoke and  Mississauga Chapter singing groups. The last game was the "Guess who" showing  old photos of Knights and ladies in video. Winners were Sir Pastor Elmer, Lady Sonia Crawford and Sir Pol Llorente.

They ended the night singing Christmas Carols and dancing. Everybody had a nice time, and they look forward for a third Christmas party next year. Our "Hats Off to Sirs Joe Daniel, Jun Calaguio's well managed "Paskor 2017" Christmas party.
