Knights of Columbus KC # 9144 Prince of Peace Pilgrimage to Fatima, Lewiston, N.Y.

Lewiston-NY-July 29, 2017: The Prince of Peace Knights of Columbus KC # 9144 brought 150 parishioners to a Pilgrimage to Fatima Shrine in Lewiston, New York to celebrate the 100th year of the Apparition of the Virgin Mary in Lisbon, Portugal.
Pastor Rev. Fr. Lorenzo Salandanan, who joined the parishioners in the buses and celebrated the Holy Mass at the Fatima Shrine in Lewiston, N.Y.
This Pilgrimage was led by
Chairman SK Keith Coutinho, PGK, SK Gregory Saldanha, PGK and SK Eduardo C. Prillo, PGK, Bro. Rommel Acayan, who took charge of the three buses that travelled to the Fatima Shrine. They were ably assisted by fellow knights Bro. Ramo Harracharian, Bro. Bernard Fernandez, Bro. Gus Bong, SK George R. Poblete, Bro. Rocky Hsuing, Bo. Nolasco Aguiar, Bro. Bob Caldwell, SK Andrew Anyaaele, Bro. Benito D'Cruz, Bro. Pedro Chu, Bro. Mario Jayaseelan, Bro. Monty Henson, and SK Nol Tejada.
On the way to Lewiston, the Pilgrims had an opportunity to visit 100 year old, recently renovated,
Our Lady of Victory Church in Niagara.
At the Fatima Shrine, Bro. Rommel led the praying of the Rosary before the Mass. The daily Prince of Peace choir group sung during the Mass. Ms. Doreen Pinto led the praying of the Divine Mercy Chaplet ..
After the Mass and prayers, the Pilgrims went to the Naigara Fashion Outlet Mall, where they did some shopping and ate their dinner. The pilgrims were blessed by a wonderful day. Despite the long wait to clear the U.S./Canada border, eveybody had a nice time and look forward to join the Pilgrimage next year.
