Tribute Philippine Festivities.....Honoring Philippine Festivals
2014 Miss Caregiver Pageant, in the production of 2014 new officers and organizers of Fil-core Support Group, had shown the viewers what caregivers can do. It showcased candidates’ talents and creativity. Throughout the legacy of Miss Caregiver Pageant, this year is another success Fil-core Support Group has attained. With the hard work and dedication, this year’s new organizers which are all caregivers creates a spectacular show. The production number which was choreographed by one of 2013 candidate of Miss Caregiver, Miss Regina Avenido, she presented the theme this year “Philippine Festivities”. It was truly wonderful to see how these candidates represents Philippine festivals costume, and what made this special was they created and designed the costumes themselves and that made an amazing start up for the show.
What excite the audience more was the talent portion and candidates entertain the crowd and made them make more noise supporting their bet. What a great performance and was very entertaining one, they made us proud. The next category was the highlight of the night and wowed the crowd was the creative gowns. Who would think of something you see in the garbage can turn into an elegant and beautiful dresses.
The show were attended by our Philippine Consul General of Toronto Shirley Banquicio, Philippine Labour Attache Atty. Nida Romulo, Honorary Gen. Consulate of Mongolia in Toronto David Tsubouchi and of course the loyal Supporter of Fil-core Support Group Mayor Dave Ryan and wife of Pickering.
There were also guest singers with a wonderful rendition and a great performance from our guest dancers.
Another night of success for Fil-core Support Group who produced this simple and unique event. A success to see candidates grow, learn, develop into more confident women and leaders who advocate and help our community. Credits are given back to 8 lovely candidates for their dedication and commitment and are inspired to work for a great Cause. To officers who dedicated most of their weekends, to their sleepless nights and late meetings. Congratulations to all.
