PHL EMBASSIES IN BEIRUT AND DAMASCUS, IOM, REPATRIATE 33 FILIPINOS FROM SYRIA
The repatriates arrived in Manila on July 10 at 10:10 P.M., via Emirates flight EK 334.

rd cross-border operation involving 33 Filipinos brought to 2,391 the total number of Filipinos repatriated from Syria via the Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut since the first cross-border operations began on 12 December 2012. This batch of repatriates brought the total number of Filipinos repatriated from Syria to 5,422
PHL EMBASSY IN RIYADH EXTENDS 2,335 CONSULAR SERVICES IN AL KHOBAR DURING EMBASSY ON WHEELS MISSION
15 July 2014 - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully held its consular outreach mission or “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) at the Al Jazeera International School in Dammam in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia from July 11 to 12.
The 5-member team, which was headed by Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal was able to process 515 passport applications, 399 notarial services, 30 birth registrations, 59 passport extensions, and releases 1,332 claimed new passports.
The team was assisted by volunteers from the Filipino community in the Eastern Region. “I personally thank the community volunteers who give their time and effort to help the Embassy team that goes to Al-Khobar for its consular outreach program,” said Philippine Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ezzedin Tago.
As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, the team conducted a client feedback survey to its clients.
The next consular outreach mission will be from July 25 to 26 in Hail, Central Region.
PHL EMBASSY IN DOHA CONDUCTS MOBILE OVERSEAS VOTERS REGISTRATION, CONSULAR SERVICES ORIENTATION FOR 5 FILIPINO ORGANIZATIONS
14 July 2014 - The Philippine Embassy in Doha, State of Qatar conducted a mobile Overseas Voters Registration and Orientation on Consular Services for 5 professional Filipino community organizations, namely, Filipino Association of Physical Therapists in Qatar (FAPTQ), Filipino Nurses Association Qatar (FNAQ), Filipino Radiologic Technologist Association in Qatar (FILRAQ), Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines-Qatar (IECEP-Qatar) and Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE) on July 11 at Philippine School Doha.
Twenty four (24) Filipinos applied for overseas voters registration.
Vice Consul Kristine Bautista gave the orientation on the Embassy’s consular services before the start of the registration.
The Embassy regularly conducts mobile registrations during events of Filipino community organizations and in companies with many Filipino employees to reach out to many eligible overseas voters.
