Pinay Profile: Nadia Abidin, at 12, Begins Her Long Journey to Fame

No one can deny the truth! Philippines is a country that host to a panoply of million talents especially in the field of arts. Name it Philippines has it! Just like this young girl of 12, who is now making a remarkable artistic path for herself in Riyadh. And its time for you to meet her.

Full Name: Princess Nadia A. Abidin. Nickname: (Nadia). Born on 16th of September in the Year 2000 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A six grader student of Elite International School. A bonafide and active member of Pinoy Sining [the Filipinos for Arts & Culture]. A Voice Power Belter, who aims to become a famous singer, someday. Nadia is into modeling apart from her forte: singing and dancing.

Nadia started her stage debut at the age of five in one of the Filipino events in Riyadh, where she belted out various genre of songs to the grandiose applause of Filipino and foreign audience. From then on, Nadia began reaping accolades and admirations. In 2011, she bagged the Top Five Grand Finalist Award during the (Kingdomwide) Central Region Pinoy Got Talent in Saudi Arabia, and in 2012, ran away with the Grand Champion (Battle of the Champions) Title held in Elite International School in Riyadh. She is presently the President of Elite International School Glee Club.

As of this writing, Nadia has already recorded Ikaw at Ako, the theme song of Missed Samonte, an independent film from the Pages of The Desert Roses book and filmed by Pinoy Sining in Bulacan, Philippines a film the group intends to submit to international and local short film competitions in 2013. So far, a music video for Ikaw at Ako is being wrapped-up and will soon be presented side-by-side with the roundup critiquing of Missed Samonte on 2nd of November, and thereafter, will be shown again as part of Missed Samonte series of official private screenings in the Philippines scheduled towards the first quarter of 2013. Likewise, Pinoy Sining (PS) intends to submit Nadias MTV and song demo to a number of recording outfits in Manila for their review and consideration. Ikaw at Ako MTV is directed by PS President Rodel J. Menda, while the song was composed by PS Founder J. Nava Cruz and musically arranged by Teofilo (Jojo) Bitoon, Jr. of the 3G Band.

For sure, its still a very long walk for Princess Nadia Abidin to reach the pinnacle of stardom. But one thing is so concrete, precise: That its a wonderful opportunity for us all to have the first look to this young Filipina who exudes a totally different singing prowess. And its best to wait and see for her next surprising career moves.
