Acers Virgin Mobile wagi sa SAMARITAN season 4 sa Riyadh

RIYADH: Sa katatapos lamang na SAMARITAN Volleyball League Season 4 opening program na ginanap noong ika-22 ng Hulyo 2016 sa Al Yamama Recreation Center, tagumpay ang Acers Virgin Mobile team na masungkit ang pagkilala bilang Best in Uniform. Ipinagkaloob naman sa Meed Brawlers ang pangalawang pinakamataas na pwesto at Bisdak para sa ikatlong pwesto.

Itinuturing ang pagkilalang ito na isang importanteng bahagi ng programa dahil sa pagbibigay-oras at panahon ng mga grupo para magkaroon ng kaaya-ayang uniporme, na isang bahagi sa pormal na pagbubukas ng nasabing liga, na nasa ikaapat na season na.

Para sa Best Banner award, naipagkaloob ang parangal na ito sa mga grupong Bisdak, Meed Brawlers at Kingdom Spikers para sa una, pangalawa at pangatlong pagkilala, ayon sa pagkakasunod.

Kabilang sa mga umupong hurado na nagbigay ng mahalagang papel sa pagpili ng mga nanalo ay sina Randy Asistin (HB Brands), Francis Noces (Virgin Mobile), Marie Joanne Yodico (FAWRI Remittance) at Marlon Vicente (Freelance writer/Event Host).

Ang programa na tumakbo ng mahigi’t isang oras ay pinasimunuan ni Roger Cadion, bilang program host. Sinimulan ito ng tinatawag na parade: presentation of teams na sinundan ng isang pambungad-panalangin sa pangunguna ni Bong Estoesta. Nagbigay-talumpati ng pasasalamat naman si Jondee Ramos, ang presidente ng grupo at si Marie Joanne Yodico, na kumatawan sa mga sponsors. Pinangunahan din ni Alvin Medina ang Declaration of Oaths ng mga manlalaro, ang tinanghal na MVP ng nakaraang season (SVL 3).

Naging matagumpay ang pagbubukas ng liga dahil sa partisipasyon ng mga koponan na kinabibilangan ng Kingdom Spikers, Q Invaders, Riyadh Hitters, Diggers, Meed Brawlers, Riyadh Spankers, Brothers, Moneygram Acers Stringers, Classmate, Riyadh Coneo, Bisdak, Vechters, D’Incredibowls at Acers Virgin Mobile. Kasama rin sa  nagbigay-tulong at suporta ay ang iba’t-ibang  establisimento at grupo kagaya ng PAL (Philippine Airlines), Virgin Mobile, FAWRI Remittance, The Filipino Channel-TFC, Cameraderie Club International at Scouts Royale Brotherhood (SRB).

Ang SAMARITAN (Samahang Manlalaro ng Riyadh Tunay At Nagkakaisa) ay binubuo nina Jondee Ramos-President, Jerry Cruz-Vice President, Arjay Talicuran-Secretary, Robert Malabanan at Edgar Dela Cruz-Treasurer, Kenneth Gomez at Byne Villota-Auditor, Jaydee Casiño, Robertson Que, Richard Suvere, Nathan Centeño, Johnny Valiente, June Apura, John Dale Celis, Ervin San Miguel, Dario Famadico, Mhallie Narrido, Rodel Gatan at Carlo Hernandez-Board Members, Bong Estoesta, Edward ‘Booba” Gangat at Yan-Yan Guia-Advisers at Alvin Medina, Arlo De Guzman at Julius Castañeda-Tournament Coordinators.
