Knights of Rizal Joint Induction of Officers in Toronto

Sir Joe Daniels, KCR, coordinated the Joint Induction Ceremonies of the Knights of Rizal’s Barrie, Don Valley, Earl Bales, and Etobicoke Chapters, and  the Canada Rizal Youth, on  July 30th at the Lara’s Place in Toronto.

Toronto Consul General Rosalita S. Prospero opened the ceremonies bringing the greetings from Philippine Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia, and her inspirational messages to the Knights of Rizal.

Newly appointed Canada Region Commander Sir Eduardo C. Prillo, KGOR welcomed the Knights, Ladies and guests.

Consul General Rose Prospero then conducted the Induction of Officers of Don Valley Chapter, Barrie Chapter, Earl Bales Chapter, Etobicoke Chapter and the Rizal Youth of Canada. Also present at the event were: Sir Senator Tobias C. Enverga, Jr., KGOR, Sir MPP Patrick Brown, KCR, Supreme Deputy Exchequer Sir Jaime T. Marasigan, KGOR, Former Canada Region Commanders Sir George R. Poblete, KGCR, and Sir Lapulapu Cana, KGCR;  Sir John Carmichael, KCR, and  MP Kellie Leitch of Simcoe-Grey.

Canada Region Commander Sir Eduardo Prillo, KGOR, also mentioned the upcoming Rizal 16th Commander's Ball that will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Rembrandt Banquet Hall in Scarborough.

This event will be hosted by Scarborough and Dimasalang Chapters, in coordination with the Canada Region Council. Host Commanders are Sir Bert Mondragon, KCR and Sir Mario Alpuerto, KGOR. Other members of the Committee for the Commander’s Ball are: Sir Manny Yanga, KCR, Sir Jojo Taduran, Jr.,KCR, and Sir Ver Amante, KCR..

The Rizal Chapters and Ladies counterpart organizations from Greater Toronto Area, Montreal, Windsor and Winnipeg are expected have expressed their participation in this annual event. (***Fe Taduran***)
