Sir George Poblete congratulates Sir Joe Damasco as new Regional Commander Rizal Canada Region

Also cited in the memorandum was the appointment of Sir Mario Alpuerto, KGOR, as deputy regional commander. He was the outgoing chapter commander of the Rizal Dimasalang chapter and eventually Sir Joaquin (jJojo) T. Taduran,, Jr. KGOR, the Dimasalang Chapter deputy commander will be elevated to the position of Dimasalang Chapter Commander. Taduran will also assume the position of Regional Trustee and Chairman of of the Pulic Relations and Publicity Committee.
Sir Poblete also encouraged the other regional officers of the Knights of Rizal, Canada Region, and officers of the different chapters to strengthen their plans and projects to the betterment of Rizal Canada.
He has also given emphasis in inspiring the chapter commanders and other chapter officers and members to develop and create Rizal projects and at the same time, to consistently sumit their reports to the Regional Commander for final forwarding to the Rizal Supreme Council to Manila, Philippines.
Sir Poblete recommended to the Regional Commander Damasco to form a delegation of the Knights of Rizal, Canada Region to the forthcoming Knights of Rizal 7th USA Regional Assembly on August 31 - september 2, 2018 in Luxor Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. He also reminded the officers and members of the Knights of Rizal Canada Region of the yearly commanders' ball, the martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the establishment of the Rizal monument both in Winnipet, Manitoba; Markham, Ontario; and the improvement of the monument of Dr. Rizal in Earl Bales, Toronto, Canada. and Rizal's birthday, and among others.
In addition Sir Polete also raised the issue of recruiting more members to the Knights of Rizal youth arm, ladies of Rizal, and the coordinated efforts with the Kababaihang Rizalista. (St.Jamestown News Service)*********
