Alpuerto is the new deputy regional commander of the Knights of Rizal in Canada Region

In fact, based on our bacgrounder about him, he was a movie actor together with the late Mario Montenegro at the LVN Productions. It was well known that he together with Mario Montenegro were the stars of "Bataan" movie in the late 1950's.
Sir Mario Alpuerto is not only a hardworking person but he has also wide range of patience at the same time he is a very friendly person.
He is presently the vice president for external affairs of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation and an active member of both Couple for Christ and Knights of Columbus.
