The new officers of the Knights of Rizal Canada Region

Toronto-ON-Canada - Sir Joe Damasco, KGOR, the newly named regional commander of the Knights of Rizal Canada region has put-up a power house officers who will be helping him strengthen the organization in this part of the world to promote the ideals and mission of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the Philippine national hero.Damasco is one of the senior members of thw Knights of Rizal and he is one person who makes things happen as he is an action person.

Supporting him is Sir Mario Alpuerto, KGOR, the former chapter commanders of the Toronto and Dimasalang chapters. Sir Placido Mineque, KGOR, retained his position as region chancellor with Sir Felix de Luna, KGOR, deputy region chancellor;

Sir Feberio Hangdaan, KCR, region exchequer; Sir Jerome Peralta, KCR, region pursuivant; Sir Dean Garcia, KCR, region archivist.

Sir Emmanuel Yanga, KGOR, retained his position as region auditor; Sir Edgar de Leon, KCR, region advocate; and Sir Joaquin  (Jojo) T. Taduran Jr,, region trustee and chairman of the public relations and publicity committee,

Sir Virgilio Amante, KCR, area commander; Sir Emmanuel Yanga, KGOR, deputy area commander, east; Sir Alec Trinidad, KCR, deputy area commander, central; and Sir Dean Garcia, KCR, deputy area sommander west;

Damasco isl the overall committee chairman in the Knights of Rizal Canada Region. Alpuerto is the region perfectural tribunal/education committee chairman with Sir Jaime T. Marasigan , KGOR, and Sir Romy Sinajon, KGOR, members.

Aside from Taduran as chairman of the commtteen on pulic relations and pulicity include; Sir Frank Crawford, KGOR,  Rizal youth council chairman with Sir Richard Saldana, KCR and Sir Bernard Virtucio, KCR members; Former Regional  whichCommander Sir Ed Prillo,, KGOR,  is the degree team/ceremonial chairman with Sir Placido Mineque, KGOR and  Sir Mario Alpuerto, KGOR, members. Sir Mauro Calaguio, Jr., KCR, chairman, government liaison and chapters research with Sir Joe Daniels, KCR and Sir Virgilio amante, KCR, members,

The multi-awarded Sir George R. Poblete, KGCR, is the chairman of the senior advisers including protocols and ethics

committee. The members include: Sir Lapulapu Cana, KGCR; Sir Dr. Tom Virey, KGOR; Sir Jaime T. Marasigan, KGOR; Sir Ed Prillo, KGOR; and Sir Dr. Romy Sinajon, KGOR, members.

In the meantime, Damasco pointed out  that  the Rizal Canada region will be preparing for the forthcoming commanders' ball, the celelbration of the martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, Rizal's birthday, the reactivation of the other dormant chapters and other inactive members in Canada, the formation of more chapters, the strengthening of  the Rizal Canada region to other Filipino organizations in Canada and the presentation of Filipino fashion designer of his collections of the Dr.Jose P.
