The Rosary Apostolate in the School Scarborough 1 conducted their May 2018 Presentation at the St. Sylvester Catholic School on May 7. This year, the Rosary Apostolate honor Our Lady of the Cape. This Region teach the Rosary in seven school in Scarborough every month.
Rosary Presentation at St. Sylvester School in Scarborough by the Volunteers
This Scarborough 1 is headed by Director Ann Alphonso. She is supported by Rosary Volunteer teachers: Gloria Fernandez, Lolita Henriquez, Maria Pecus, Karen Engelmann, Christine Manrique, Nick Barillaro, Trudy Vanderkooy, Annette Van Kemper, George and Dolly Poblete.
Sister Marilina Cinelli is the Spiritual Director of the Rosary Apostolate in the schools. The volunteers teach the Rosary in 500 schools in Greater Toronto Area, to Peterborough and Ottawa to the East, to London in the South, to Newmarket in the north, in Ontario, and up to Yellowknife in Northern Canada.
The Immaculate Heart of Mary Block Rosary group held their monthly prayer meeting at the Poblete Residence. This prayer group started in 1977 by the parents of most present members. They continue praying the Rosary daily in each others home for 39 years and meet with the other members each month.
