Knights of Rizal Canada Region to celebrate the 155th birthday of Dr. Jose P. Rizal

TORONTO, Ontario, Canada - The Knights of Rizal, Canada Region, will celebrate the 155th birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal on June 19, 2016 throughout Canada and the Rizal Brampton Chapter headed by Commander Sir Delfin Palileo, KCR, will host the big event which is supported by the KOR Canada Region and other  Rizal chapters headed by Sir Ed Prillo, KGOR, acting regional commander; Sir Romy Sinajon, KGOR, Regional Chancellor; Sir George Poblete, KGCR, immediate past regional commander of KOR Canada, Region; Sir Popoy Canada, KGCR, past regional commander, Rizal Canada Region, Sir Joe Damasco, KGOR, Rizal Area Commander; Sir Emmanuel Yanga, KGOR, Rizal Canada Region deputy area commander, and Sir Mario Alpuerto, KGOR, Rizal Canada deputy area commander.

Philippine Consul General Rosalita Propwero was invited for the wreath laying infront of the bust of Dr. Jose P. Rizal at Earls Park,  who will be assisted by the officers and members of the Knights of Rizal Canada Region. Also on hand will be the officers and members of the Kababaihang Rizalista headed by its'President Ms. Rose Cruz; Ms. Lynette Garcia Perez, president of the Filipino Aspiration of Rizal; and Ms. Odette Vire, president of the Ladies of Rizal.

On hand to attend the historical event is Sir  Sen. Tobias C. Envergak KGOR, adviser of the Rizal Dimasalang Chapter.

The Rizal Chapters in Toronto which will participate include: Scarborough Chapter, Dimasalang Chapter, Brampton Chapter, Mississauga Chapter, Earl Bales Chapter, Don Valley Chapter, and Etobicoke.
The members of the Rizal Youth are also participating, according to Sir Frank Crawford, KCR. (St. Jamestown News Service, Dindo Orbeso).*********
