Faith-Focused Toronto Parents Involvement Community to Celebrate Filipino Heritage Day

In celebration of "Filipino Heritage Month", the Filipino Parents Association in Catholic Education( FCPACE), the Filipino Heritage Month Council( FHMC) and the Toronto Catholic District School Board( TCDSB) will jointly hold  a "Special Evening with His Eminence, Thomas Cardinal Collins" on June 12, 2019(Wednesday). Thomas Cardinal Collins is the Catholic Archbishop of Toronto. The celebratory event is scheduled at 6:00 to 9:00 pm. at the CEC-Catholic Education Centre, TCDSB , 80 Sheppard Avenue East, North York, Toronto, Ontario M2N 6E8.

The maiden event with its theme : "Living Our Faith in Unity with Our Families, Parishes, Schools and Community", is being conducted in cooperation with the Catholic Parents Involvement Committee( CPIC). Cardinal Collins will speak on "The Relationship of the Church and School in a Modern World, Its Challenges and How Parents Play a Vital Role in Strengthening This Relationship".  After which a reserved light dinner and a brief workshop will follow.
