400 Pinoy nurses needed in Germany

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration is now accepting applications for nurses under the Triple Win Project of Germany.

Qualified applicants must be Filipino citizen, male or female, and permanent resident of the Philippines with Bachelor of Science in Nursing, active Philippine Nursing License and at least two years related professional experience (bedside) in hospitals, rehabilitation centers and/or care institutions.

The Triple Win Project is a joint initiative of the German Federal Employment Agency (BA) and the POEA which aims to send nursing professionals to different parts of Germany. The project is called as such because it benefits three entities: the Philippines, Germany, and the nurses.

Applicants must have German language proficiency or willing to undergo German language training in the Philippines to attain Level B1 (to be paid by the employer) and must be able to attend the language class in April and May 2019; or with Bl or B2 Language Proficiency Level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Successful candidates shall have a starting monthly salary of €1,900 (gross) that will be increased to € 2,300 after recognition as a qualified nurse.

The employer will pay the visa and airfare from the Philippines to Germany and will assist the employee find a suitable accommodation. The selected nurse will bear the expenses in full or in part of the board and lodging.

Qualified applicants should register online at www.eservices.poea.gov.ph and personally submit the required documents (fastened in a folder) under the heading "German Federal Employment Agency RSF No. 180028" at the Manpower Registry Division,  Ground Floor, Blas F. Ople Bldg. (formerly POEA Bldg.), Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City.

The required documents are cover letter and curriculum vitae with colored passport size picture; High School Diploma (notarized copy); Nursing Diploma (notarized copy); Board Certificate and copy of license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC); Certificates of employment in related field (previous and current) (notarized copy); Attendance and/or level certificate for German language, if available; Copy of valid Passport; and Certificate of POEA online Pre-employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) (peos.poea.gov.ph).

Applicants are required to present their original documents for authentication of written information before forwarding the resume to the employer.

Interview by employers is scheduled on end of March 2019.

Deadline for submission of applications at POEA Central and Regional Offices is on February 28, 2019.

UAE needs 150 emergency medical technicians

The National Ambulance Company in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates is in urgent need of qualified Filipino applicants to fill up its vacancy for 150 emergency medical technicians (EMTs).

The leading pre-hospital emergency care provider in the UAE accepts female or male applicants that are graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing and should have completed internationally recognized Basic EMT course or equivalent training with minimum of four weeks duration, and have at least eight months of experience as EMT.

Applicants are advised to register online at www.eservices.poea.gov.ph and personally submit to the Manpower Registry Division, Window S or  T, Ground Floor, Blas F. Ople Bldg., Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City the following requirements (fastened in a folder labeled RSF No. 180023-A, applicant’s name, position applied for, country of destination, and e-registration number):

-       Detailed résumé with job description

-       High school diploma and Form 137

-       College diploma and transcript of records

-       Valid BLS and BTLS certification

-       PSEMT or AREMT registration covering at least the last 8 months

-       Letter of good standing from the registering body

-       Updated letter/employment certificates showing experience as an EMT-B covering at least the last 8 months

-       Colored copy of passport (valid for at least one year)

-       Colored copy of valid driver’s license

-       Two (2) pieces 2x2 recent picture

-       clear copy with white background

-       colored top (polo) with collar

-       neat / masculine haircut, for male candidate

-       face should not be covered with hair (male and female)

-       teeth should not be shown

-       Printed copy of worker’s information sheet/e-Registration
