APCO Inc. attends YADMA 2017 End of the Year Celebrations

A delegation of 28 APCO Officers and Members offered their time and talents to participate in this yearly event in support to APCO’s Affiliate Member, YADMA.  Talented APCO members performed some authentic numbers in the Program.  Rolly Limun sang his composition “Salamat Australia” (Thank You, Australia) and Linda Trinidad, with a nightingale voice sang “Maalaala Mo Kaya?” (Do You Ever Remember?”. Linda sang as well a solo song entitled “Sa Kabukiran” (At the Farm). Duet rendered by Charlene Gamo and Catherine Tiatco with the song “Awitin Ko at Isasayaw Mo (I Sing While You Dance It).  Stacey Bustamante also gave a rendition of a modern song, “Titanium”. 

The Filipinas Dancers of APCO composed of Rita Agostino and Dian Ford and guest dancer Fe Hayward, delighted the audience by their traditional “Hawaiian Dance” and their creative “Hawaii-Five-O”.

APCO was represented mostly by couples namely: Dr. Cen and Ruben Amores; Larry and Cora Perez; Mick and Violy Miguel; Linda Price and Harry; Rita and Joe Agostino; Linda Trinidad and Roberto Sacillotto; Fe Hayward and Franco Floro; Malou Tiatco and Catherine Tiatco; Rolly Limun; Lydia and Doug Myers; APCO President Pet Storey and husband Ron, Stacey Bustamante, Baby and Sandy Bustamante, Dian Ford; Charlene Gamo and Elisabeth Gamo.

Also APCO was proud to award to YADMA a Certificate of Appreciation for their generous donation of $285.00 towards the HEAL Projects for the Marawi Refugees, the award was presented by Dr. Cen Amores and Ruben Amores, and the President of APCO Pet Storey to the YADMA President Josie Johnson.

The group was driven safely to Young, NSW leaving Sydney at 6:30 a.m. and back to Sydney at around 8:00 pm.

Indeed, it was a time for leisure, enjoyment and bonding among APCO members who reached out affiliates in the regional NSW.
