Prince of Peace Parish Marriage Preparation Course

The Marriage Preparation Course Conductors of the Prince of Peace Church have finalized their plans and 2016 schedule of their upcoming classes that will start next month. This course is conducted to guide the couples who will get married this year in the Prince of Peace Church.
This Marriage Preparation Course is led by
Deacon Eustace and Gloria Beausoleil. This group started in the Prince of Peace Parish 18 years ago. The couples to be married have to attend the six weekend Marriage Preparation Course, which include presentations, lectures and group discussions on: Readiness and Maturity,
Communication, Natural Family Planning, Parenting, Sexuality, Stewardship and Spirituality; to prepare the couples to be married for their coming wedding and married life.
Rommel and Cynthia Acayan were in the initial group. The other four couples have been conducting these courses for the Prince of Peace Parish for over 16 years.
(It is worth noting that the five Course Conductors couples have a combined happy married life of 220 years together.)

41st Wedding Anniversary.
George & Dolly Poblete, Blessed by Fr. Regulo Imperial on their 59th Wedding Anniversary
Rev. Fr. Regulo Imperial, Pastor of the Prince of Peace Church blessed George and Dolly Poblete on their
59th Wedding anniversary. Fr. Reg blessed them and wish that the the Lord give them good health and continue their faithful service to the church and the community.
The Pobletes are Scarborough residents for forty years. They have six children, who gave them 14 grandchildren; eleven of them are now either in the University or have completed their post graduate studies.
Octagenareans George and Dolly are still actively involved with many religious and commuity activities. They help in their church ministries, Rosary Crusaders of Toronto, Rosary Apostolate in the Schools, Knights of Columbus, Knights of the Holy Sepulchre (EOHSJ), Knights of Rizal and the Third Order of the Carmelite (OCDS) organizations.
The Pobletes are with the Prince of Peace Church since its Blessing. SK George founded the Knights of Columbus the Prince of Peace Council # 9144 thirty years ago. The Pobletes are active coordinators of the Block Rosary Crusaders of Toronto (
This locally organized Block Rosary group started 34 year ago. Their objective is to propagate the daily praying of the Rosary, to the over 600 member families in Metro, North and East of Toronto.) George & Dolly are volunteers, supervisor and directors in the Rosary Apostolate in the schools,
(The Rosary volunteers teaches the Rosary in over 500 schools in the Archdiocese, that started over 17 years ago.)
Sir George and Lady Dolly are high ranking commanders in the Holy Sepulchre Lieutenancy in Toronto, Canada
(The Holy Sepulchre, or EOHSJ, is an 11th century Papal Order, whose primary objective is to support and maintain Christianity in the Holy Land).
The Pobletes stated that they owe their active life to our Lord, who gave them very supportive children and faithful friends in the community.
Block Rosary Crusaders of Toronto Christmas Party for the families
The
Block Rosary Crusaders of Toronto brought great joy to the families of the Block Rosary members last Christmas.
Chairpersons Lita & Nilo Abbesamis, invited Santa Claus, who brought gifts for the Children, and served a sumptous dinner to the families. BR Chairperson
Lita Leano briefed the members of the Block Rosary activities in 2015 and served as
master of ceremonies for this evening. She also led the Christmas Carol singing.
Among those who actively supported this celebration are
BR Coordinators Jun & Carmelita Salvador, who brought his family clan of 30, Lita & Nilo Abesamis, Tony & Lita Leano, George & Dolly Poblete, Jimmy & Bing Marasigan, Madeline Ong, who also brought her kids and grandkids,
Josie & Romy Corpus, Dr. Bina & Tito Commendador and Myrna & Conrad de Leon.
Over a hundred Block Rosary members and guests celebrated Christmas at St. Thomas the Apostle Church hall. They all enjoyed this Children's Christmas Party, which include some dancing by their parents after the dinner.
The Block Rosary Crusaders of Toronto, who, propagate the praying of the Rosary within the member families, originated in Scarborough in 1982. They have expanded to 13 groups with over 690 families from the Metro area, North and East of Toronto.
The Block Rosary Crusaders of Toronto conduct a Living Rosary in May; Pilgrimages to Consolacion Basilica in Carey, Ohio,/ Fatima Shrine in Lewiston, New York/ or Divine Mercy in Massachussetts; have summer Picinics for the BR families; Anniversary celebration in October; and Children's Christmas Party in December of each year. Their members also help raise funds to respond to the needs of the calamities in the Philippines and othe countries.

Director Ann Alphonso's residence, They reviewed their Rosary classes they hold in seven schools, discussed their annual school presentation in April and had a social Christmas gathering.
