The deployment of the Canadian Forces rapid-response team sent by the Canadian Government during the Typhoon Hainan was an enormous humanitarian achievement applying the team's logistical expertise on relief operations and exceptional ability to execute such time-sensitive mission.
The Disaster Assistance Response Team primary contribution which include the distribution of the much needed purified water, treated thousands of medical patients, clearing critical roads and addressing the immediate delivery of tons of foods in remote areas using their own air assets were so much valued and appreciated by the Filipino people.
