FILIPINA TEEN TENNIS PLAYER MS. ALEX EALA TO PARTICIPATE AT INTERNATIONAL YOUTH TENNIS TOURNAMENT IN OOSTERBEEK

11 July 2018 – The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the Filipino Community in the Netherlands that a Filipina teen tennis player Alexandra (“Alex”) Eala (who had been allowed at the young age of 13 to try to qualify for the French open juniors) will be in Oosterbeek,the Netherlands on 14-21 July 2018 as part of an Asian team (together with a representative each from China, Kazakhstan, India) created by the International Tennis Federation to compete in various teen tournaments in France, Belgium and the Netherlands as part of their development program for exceptional players.

Ms. Eala will participate inthe International Youth Tennis Tournament which will be held at the OTV Tennispark for the first time. The tournament is meant fornational ranking players under fourteen years. The very best players of this age group from all over the world will compete in this tournament.
