PIDC SLATES 2018 TORONTO MABUHAY PHILIPPINES FESTIVAL ON AUGUST 25 - 26

The Philippine Independence Day Council - PIDC, a quintessential non- profit & volunteer- run community organization, has recently announced that its ever popular and signature community event , the 2018 Mabuhay Philippines Festival is to be held on August 25 & 26 , 2018 ( Saturday & Sunday), 11 am. at Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto City Hall, Toronto.
The annual festival is also in grand celebration of its 20th anniversary event proffering a plethora of significant activities, such as: Philippine Tapestry, Fashion Shows,Street Parade, Musical & Variety Show , TFC Kapamilya Artist Performance, SantaCruzan, and Food & Vendor Booths.
With its theme, Kinabukasan, the platinum celebration is fully determined to meet the PIDC goal of maintaining its community leadership and fellowship as a culturally- focused key player and solid participant in the Filipino Canadian community as well as in the Canadian multicultural landscape.
Under the guidance and direction of Norma Carpio, chairman emerita for Mabuhay Philippines Festival & immediate past-president of PIDC, the 2- day festivities hope to achieve a productive and sustained promotion of Philippine tradition, culture & arts, through enjoyable presentations of its flagship "fun, food, and faith " events. N. Carpio is aptly joined in by the entire PIDC Board of Directors and Executive Officers led by current PIDC president Karen Pascual - Binaday and Agnes Miranda, World Financial Group -WFG executive vice chair.
