It was a joyous occasion for Rev. Deacon Eustace Beausoleil  to celebrate his 20th year of his "Life Service to the Church"  A Holy Mass was celebrated  by pastor Rev. Fr. The 800 parishioners joined Deacon Eustace and wife Gloria in the Holy Mass and continued their good-byes to the Deacon, who will be  transferred to a nearby parish on July 1, 2018. They joined him and Gloria in photo-ops  in the church hall.

Mr. Eustace, a Canadian from  St. Lucia, is well liked by his Caribbean friends. He was always around to help them . He was working as a  Computer Technician, when he received a "call  from God". He felt that he can serve the people more by being a deacon.  He studied for four years, together with wife Gloria , for his diaconate at St. Augustine Seminary.  This is when he started to spend more time to be of service to God and enjoyed his more meaningful life.

He was ordained a Deacon on June 20, 1998  by Bishop Pendergast  in St. Michael's Cathedral in Toronto.

Rev. Deacon Eustace continued  his sacrifices, juggling his time with his  regular occupation  to earn money for his family, while he  continued his "Life of Service to the Church". He was able to do all these " with the help of God".

He also witnessed the wedding vows of several hundred couples and conducted several seminars to the parishioners.  He joined the Prince of Peace Council KC # 9144 in 1990, and earned his fourth degree rank as a Sir Knight  in the Knights of Columbus a few years later. He looked after the Parish Marriage Preparation Course program for 12 years.  Deacon and Gloria has been married for 38years. They have 3 children and 7 grandchildren.
