12-year old Cabigting tops Pinoy Central Got Talent season 2

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: It was a night of Pinoy talents as the PCGT Season 2 (Pinoy Central Got Talent) concluded on a high note where Vianca Cabigting topped the competition among the 12 semi-finalists who battled against each other on August 30, 2013 held at Exit 9 witnessed by more or less 500 screaming crowd here.

Cabigting, who done a solo singing act was joined by other top five winners, Christopher Ligon (2nd) with interpretative dance act followed by an all girls group Riyadh Girls Group (3rd) while the 4th and 5th places was occupied by Roger Cruz who performed variety of talents such as singing, dancing and acting and another solo singing act courtesy of Jay Car Bonifacio, respectively.
The top five winners will be competing against finalists from Western and Eastern regions on December 2013 in Al-Khobar for the grand finale dubbed as Saudi Arabia Pinoy Got Talent 2013 Season 2 under the Chairmanship of Jaypee M. Vega.

Out of the 12 semi-finalists, who each performed their acts maximum of six minutes, the competition was trimmed down to 8 finalists which include Vianca Cabigting, Herwin Maniflor, Sofia Fermazi, Catherine Aquino, Jeffrey Reyes, Riyadh Girls Group, Christopher Ligon and Randel Aquipel. Criteria for judging and selection consists of talent (50%), audience impact (10%) and product sales (40%). In addition, the board of judges decided to add two finalists as wild card where the selection was based on their performance (60%) to where, Roger Cruz and Jay Car Bonifacio completed the Top 10 Finalists. Joining the other 12 semi-finalists are Alber Berwaga and Renante Repunte.

Members of the board of judges, who really had hard time selecting their respective winners are Zhariya Camid-Alamada, one of Riyadhs Most Powerful Women and a TFC Balitang Middle East Correspondent, Laverna Macuha, a nurse by profession and a certified performing artist at the same time beauty queen and Jessie Garcia, an office secretary but nurse by profession and a dance choreographer.
The event was hosted by Marlon B. Vicente, directed by Direk Jorge with Herbie Marquez as the official tabulator and was under the helm of FAPS (Filipino Athletes and Performers Society).
