Silayan Community Centre (Ontario) honors it's members

The Silayan Community Centre headed by its' president Ben Ferrer continue to honor its' members on different occasions at the Wellesley Library during their birthdays and more so during Valentine's day celebration.

Many members of the centre are seniors who have allotment time for entertainment and the get together event which give them ample time to forget their sorrow being far from the members of their families who are still waiting for the approval of their petitions to join them in the different parts of Canada.

Senator Tobias C. Enverga, Jr. has assured the members of the Filipino community that his Office at the Parliament Hills in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada is open to any member of the Filipino community who needs his help. On the other hand, Ms. Rosemer Albovias Enverga of the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) cited the different programs and programs participated in by the said foundation like Ancop, Kalayaan, and many more.

Social Security System head Bobby Roldan for North America that his office is now helping SSS retirees and active members in coordination with IREMIT in the presence of its' branch manager and marketing officer Simeon M. Sarte which coordinated closely with Mr. Roldan and with the support of Pearlie Baguisa and Anna Catipon Eusebio of UMAC.

Gracing also the Silayan event include Sir Manny Yanga of Scarborough Toyota and the Order of the Knights of Rizal Canada Region, former Silayan Community Centre President, Frank and Ms. Tan. (St. Jamestown News Service)*********
