Dear all,

We, the members of The First Wehl Group (Winnipeg Residents), have finally accepted the responsibility to host the Holland Berghaus Annual Valentine’s Ball on February 14, 2009.

We wish to invite everyone to join us on this occasion.

The first thing we had done was to strike a working committee doing various tasks. One of the important highlights of the occasion is the production of a Souvenir Program that will cover past, present and future activities of each and every one of us, so with our families or as a group. So far, we have done a preliminary outline to be included in the said Souvenir Program such as: official greetings (government officials, chairperson, The Netherlands Consul in Winnipeg, etc.); memories of our stay in Holland; tribute to Fr. Van Dooren and all who have crossed over from this life; to feature some exemplary achievements from among us, our sons/daughters. We would like to see the picture of your family with your greetings to be included in the printing of the souvenir program for the 10th anniversary of Filippijnse Meisjes’ Valentines celebration in Winnipeg.

At this point, we need as much input as possible to create a worth-taking-home souvenir program. Please refer to our advertising fee schedule and how to send your ads. Also, we need to borrow some photos from each Holland group which will be returned after the event.

Thank you all very much and we hope to hear from you as soon as possible.

The First Wehl group sends their love and regards to all our friends.
