Crossover Canada captures 5th MVP Cup IHSBC in Malaysia

Crossover Canada captured the 5th MVP IHSBC in Malaysia by beating defending champion Darwin High School of Australia 79-68. Denzel Faraon led the charge and was adjudge MVP of the tournament. PYD Philippines outlasted SMK BU3 of Malaysia to win 2nd runner up.

Canada wrecked havoc on its initial pool by winning wide margins against Secret Basketball Club (142-29), PYD-Red Philippines (100-53) and Kemuning Basketball Club (114-43). In the Championship pool Crossover Canada demolished SMK BU3 of Malaysia (122-64) and IPH of Indonesia (117-58) to enter the finals.

IHSBC Commissioner Tan Wan Chee was all praise for the Canadians for their participation and demeanor for both inside and outside of the court. The Canadians has definitely increased the level of competion and expects a bigger version next year mentioned by Tan.
