FILIPINO CANADIAN EDUCATOR TO SPEAK  AT PROUDLY PINOY  DAY in TORONTO,CANADA

A noted Filipino Canadian educator and leader in the community, Tony A. San Juan, OCT, has been invited to speak at the Proudly Pinoy Day in celebration of Asian Canadian Heritage Month in Canada. The annual free event is being organized and sponsored by Toronto Catholic District School Board(TCDSB) on May 11, 2013, Saturday, 9:30a.m.-4:00 p.m. at Blessed Pope John Paul II Catholic Secondary School , 685 Military Trail, south of Highway 401 / west of Morningside Road, in Scarborough, Toronto., Canada.

Distinctively recognizing deserving individuals is a time-honoured exercise and expression of admiration, respect and gratitude. This is true to people and organizations especially with such an enviable association of teachers and education professionals.

Recently, a modest  and low-key  education leader in the Filipino Canadian community receives a special recognition award from his peers and colleagues in the teaching profession. Tony A. San Juan, a long-serving head honcho of the Philippine Teachers Association of Canada, is a recipient of the 105-member organization's meritorious award for "Outstanding Leadership Excellence " . San Juan is the incumbent president of the 6-year old only samahan ng mga gurong Filipino in Ontario for the past four years,
