IT’S A GIRL …. FOR COUPLE SALLY AND PIETER

By Ruth de Leon
The Netherlands
December 18, 2017

The coming of a baby is always happy news. That is why the Filipino and Dutch community were glad to learn that Sally and Pieter and their son CJ will soon have an addition to the Plomp family.

The family has been waiting for a baby for quite some time that is why when Sally and Pieter learned that they were soon to be parents they were filled with caution but so much joy.

A baby shower was organized by their family and friends last December 9, 2017 to share in their joy. There was a sumptuous dinner and what is a baby shower without games.  It was hilarious to see grown-up men putting on diapers and crawling to drink milk from bottles, feeding applesauce to husbands by blindfolded wives and seeing noses instead of mouths being filled with the sauce, guessing the measurement of the girth of the mother-to-be and of course guessing the gender of the baby.

The gender was revealed by the bursting of balloons resulting in the shower of pink confetti.

Yes, it’s a GIRL!

We can’t wait to see Baby Chloe Samonte Plomp in March 2018!
