Knights of Columbus KC #9144 Spring Dinner-Dance at Prince of Peace Church

Prince of Peace Council # 9144 had a Spring dinner-dance at Prince of Peace Chirch Hall. District Deputy SK Wilfred Gomez, PGK, PFN, DD # 87 presented  a plaque from the Ontario State Counicl to KC # 9144 for attaining over 200%  in their membership.

Chairman SK Greg Saldanha was so happy to be supported by the active and new knights of the Council. The over 100 guests and Knights of Columbus VIPs came and enjoyed the evening of dancing and delicious dinner. The KC # 9144 gave away several dozens of door prizes, which were donated by the Knights and friends.

Grand Knight SK Keith Coutinho (not available on this event) was elated by the great support by the active Knights. This Prince of Peace Council was recently reinforced by the addition of Thirteen (13) newly inducted knights. They are: Bros. Bob Caldwell, Pedro Chu, Steven D'Souza, Nabil Elias, Rocky Hsiung, Kingsley Marriyanajakam, Vince Ong, Rudolph Pinto, Abraham Rashid,Poerwanto Soesatyo, Ramo Harricharan, Alphhonse Quinto and Paul Dias.

This Fraternal Year 2014-2015, the Prince of Peace Council # 9144 Knights have actively helped the Church Minitries, the Community, Families, Council and the Youth. Besides the  Membership Plaque they received, they expect to get more awards from the Ontario State after the end of on June 30, 2015.

This KC #9144 was founded on November 17, 1985, and has been active ever since. They will celebrate their 30th Anniversary on November 14, 2015. The event Chairman SK George R, Poblete, PGK, FDD, PFN, KC*HS, who formed this Knights of Columbus Council will announce more details of this celebration soon.
