Scarborough, Toronto, CANADA- June 8-10, 2007, - Celebrated our 40th Anniversary of 1st Filipino Nurses in Amsterdam. 19 out of 50 from St. Lucas Ziekenhuis and 5 from OLVG out of 25. Participants are coming from the USA, Canada and The Netherlands, it was a good turn out. A Memorial Mass was offered for those who had gone before us. The Reunion Party was attended by almost 50 guests, it was a big success! Thanks to our hosts, Norma and Tony dela Cruz who worked so hard and made this occasion possible. Also, a special thanks to Elzien Schendstok who joined us for the occasion, who was our Matron for 3 memorable years.
