Incredibowls clinched ‘7th Season Cebu Pacific’ Volleyball Championship in Riyadh

Grand champion in 2014 and 2015, Incredibowls is still in the state of euphoria after clinching their 3rd FAPS volleyball grand champion title in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia via the recently concluded battle of volleyball heavyweights ‘7th Season Cebu Pacific FAPS Men’s Volleyball League 2016’ held last month at the Yamamah Sports Complex in Riyadh.
Witnessed by hundreds of Filipinos and foreign spectators, Incredibolws Team unleashed their impressive volleyball skills through 3 out of 5 set wins with the scores of 25-16; 28-26, 25-16 beating Bisdak A, 1
st Runner-up, during the grand finals, and Qassim Spimaco, 2
nd Runner-up, throughout the entire play-tour — which displayed non-stop frontline of strength, volleyball techniques, most of all, show of sportsmanship from all participating teams: Heavyweight participants comprising of Incredibolws, Bisdak A and Qassim Spiamco and Regular Teams comprising of Bisdak B (Champion), Riyadh Coneo (First Runner-up), FHM Volleybelles (2
nd Runner-up), KVC, PCIS Falcons, SPIS Flying Dragonz, RIS Warriors, KSU Team, Incredibowls B. The most coveted MVP Award for heavyweight showdown was given to Jan Rambacal of Incredibowls while MVP Award for Regular Team showdown was awarded to Rocky Obiano of Bisdak B.
As of this writing, FAPS Management headed by its incumbent President Leo Encarnacion along with FAPS Advisory Council Members Marlon Aliasas, Mary Aliasas and Charlotte Ludovice with other FAPS Officials Erwin Manic, VP for Sports, Henry Britos, VP for Performers, Jay-Ar Gonzales, Secretary of the Board have given cash and consolation prices to all the winners.
Come 2017, as this writer puts it, and while FAPS layout the plans towards their ‘8
th Cebu Pacific Men’s Volleyball League, “chasing the champion won’t be easy, let alone, ‘being the champion being chased’ will be somewhat a totally different story”. Meanwhile, let’s all wait and see. –
