Knights of Rizal chapter in The Netherlands Established

Three years ago Anton Lutter came into contact with Gary Domingo, nowadays assistant-secretary at DFA, who with inspiration talked about Dr. Jose Rizal and the Knight of Rizal. Act followed interest and in 2013 Anton Lutter was dubbed a knight at the International Headquarters in Manila.
The dubbing was attended by fellow knight and friend Sir Gary Dominggo, KGOR, while the Supreme Commander Sir Reghis Romero officiated the ceremony. Thanking the Supreme Commander Sir Anton promised to promote the legacy of Jose Rizal in The Netherlands and organize a chapter in his country, the “old” chapter being dormant for many years.
Now two years later, the 26
th of june 2015 at the The Hague residence of the Philippines ambassador Sir Jaime Victor Ledda, KCR, the chapter The Hague was reestablished. This and the dubbing of two new members was performed by Sir Peter Pluckebaum, KGOR, of the Knights of Rizal Supreme Council who came from Manila. A delegation from the Knights of Belgium attended the meeting. One of the Belgium knights Sir Lucien Spittael, KGOR gave a lecture about Jose Rizal in Europe. Afterwards he presented the book “Belgian Rizalist” by Prof. Dr. Emmanuel F. Calairo, president of the Philippine Historical Association, to Ambassdor Ledda.
After the ceremony the ambassador Sir Jaime Victor Ledda, KCR invited SirAnton Lutter, KCR to inaugurate with him the “Virtual Sentro Rizal” in The Netherlands. This government project is to educate children of Philipine overseas workers about their roots and provide anyone interested in Philippine culture and history with information. The "Virtual Sentro Rizal"collection comprises 250 gigabytes of data including 72 hours of video of Filipino cultural materials covering different genres across regions.
