Successful Celebration of 60th Anniversary of Germany-Philippines Bilateral Relation and 116th Anniversary of Philippine Independence

The 60th Bilateral and 116th Philippine Independence Day celebrations that was held in Burgpaltz, Essen was a success. According to Ver Cuizon´s ( Planning/Ex-officio) estimates there were almost 3,000 visitors on this day.
There was a Santacruzan followed by the celebration of mass with Auxilliary Bishop Ludger Schepers as main celebrant, Fr Dietmar Weber OSC, Fr Manny Tamayo OSC and Fr Fr. Rudy Holtzgartner.SVD, co-celebrants respectively.
There were fashion shows featuring apparels partly made of local materials designed by Loi Maristela-Tana and Ed Alejandrino.
The whole day affair included booths with Filipino culinary foods, shawls from Lumban, Laguna, Documentary articles and pictures, travel agencies /other sponsors.Filipino-German Vereins (organizations).
The lion share of work was done by ALAH EH, headed by the over-all chairman Oggie Maristela.
