The Amores couple invitation to Israel’s 69th Independence Day

To celebrate the 69th anniversary of Israel’s independence, the Jewish Board of Deputies invited community leader couple, Dr Cen and Ruben Amores to represent the Filipino-Australian community. This commemorative event was held at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney on the 2nd of May 2017.

Among the invited guests were Premier of NSW, Gladys Berejiklian, NSW Opposition Leader, Luke Foley, many government ministers and MPs, ECCNSW Chair, Peter Doukas, Consular officials, key community and business leaders. It is estimated that about 500 guests attended the cocktail event.
Israel is the only successful and working democracy in the Middle East and considered as the world leader in innovation in the fields of defence, health, water, agriculture and IT.
