Knights of Rizal Canada at the recent 21st International Assembly in Davao & Tagum Cities

Davao City-Feb 23-25, 2017: The 21st KOR International Assembly Conference started with the Parade and Wreath laying ceremony at Rizal Monument, San Pedro St. Davao City, with Sir Bert Nanquil, KGCR who deliver the Tribute to Dr. Jose Rizal.



Sir Reynato Puno, KGCR confer our president Sir Rodrigo Roa Duterte to KGCR and his Honorable deliver a short message follow by group photo opportunity with all the delegates. While Sir Gerry Singson, KGCR received the Rizal Pro Patria Award as the outgoing Supreme Commander of the Order.

The Second Plenary session started with Sec. Adelino B. Sitoy who deliver the National and Local Initiatives Presently Being undertaken towards a shift to Federalism. Followed by Atty. Raul L. Lambino who deliver the Problem in Transition in Shifting from Unitary to Federalism form of Government and Dr. Adrian M. Tamayo who deliver the Impact of Federalism among Indigenous People of Mindanao.

The Third Plenary session started with Unveiling Ceremonies of the Rizal Monument in Tagum City. With the re-enactment of the Martyrdom of Dr Jose Rizal by the Student of Tagum City National Comprehensive High School.

The afternoon was the Knighthood ceremonies with closing Fraternal Message by our Supreme Commander Sir Reynato Puno, KGCR.

Congratulation to our new 4th Degree of the Order, Sir Joaquin Jojo Taduran, KGOR and Sir Frank Crawford, KGOR, and also to Sir Pastor Elmer Manzo, KCR who received his Lifetime plaque with Sir Frank Crawford, KGOR.

Our Supreme Commander Sir Reynato Puno, KGCR presented the Award of Recognitions to Lady Rose Cruz and Lady Espie Balansi of the Kababaihan Rizalista, and Lady Rose Dhaliwal, Lady Ligaya Cana, Lady Virgie Sinajon and Lady Lourdes Prillo of the Ladies of The Knights of Rizal.

The Supreme Council reviewed and deferred the other recommendations submitted by the Canada Region Tribunal. I would like to sincerely thanks all the Canadian delegates who attended and represented the Canada Region in the 21st KOR International Assembly Conference.
